Book a photoshoot with us

  • Book your maternity, newborn, baby or family photography in Bangalore and Chennai at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This way, we have some time to understand your photography requirements, put together a moodboard, and prepare for your family photoshoot.

  • Yes, we travel. We have studios in Bangalore and Chennai, but we can travel to any part of the country for a family photoshoot with newborn, newborn photoshoot with parents, maternity photoshoot, or events. Reach out to Mommy Shots by Amrita to plan your outstation shoot!

  • Please note that all payments are final and non-refundable. We do not have a cancellation policy. However, in case you want to reschedule within the first 48 hours of booking a shoot, we can accommodate it at a flat fee of Rs. 2,999. For a subsequent rescheduling, a fee of 50% of the package price will be collected to compensate for opportunity costs. Your family photoshoot package is valid for 3 months from the date of booking. 

  • The best time to do a maternity photoshoot in Bangalore or Chennai (or anywhere, really) is between 6 and 8 months of your pregnancy. This is where your bump starts to show more prominently, and can be captured like a dream on camera. If you’re carrying twins, anywhere as early as 5-6 months will also work. Reach out around this time window to grab a slot at Mommy Shots by Amrita.

  • A newborn photoshoot with parents will include a lot of solo shots of your baby in different poses. To achieve these poses in a new born shoot, the baby ideally needs to be 0-30 days old, and in deep sleep. However, babies up to 3 months of age are considered newborns, and can be captured in those dreamy poses in a family newborn photoshoot.

  • At Mommy Shots by Amrita, we offer different photo shoot packages that come with their own time frames.

    Essential Mini: 45 minutes

    Classic: 1-2 hours

    Signature: 2-3 hours

    Legacy: 3-4 hours

  • Mommy Shots by Amrita has an extensive collection of maternity gowns for your maternity photoshoots in Bangalore and Chennai. We also offer themed props and backdrops, from editorial to lifestyle. However, some props like balloons, flowers, and fruits, will be charged on actuals on the day of the shoot to ensure their quality.

  • Yes! In every session, we include your partner and older children as a part of the family photoshoot. However, for grandparents or any additional extended family members are chargeable. Please reach out to us for additional information.

  • Yes. At Mommy Shots by Amrita, we have curated a list of outdoor locations in both Bangalore and Chennai for dreamy family photoshoots. Whether it’s a lush, green landscape or a photoshoot by the waves, we got you covered. Check out our packages to learn more information.

  • Yes, we work to accommodate your requests, and the combined maternity and newborn package is a popular ask at Mommy Shots by Amrita. We also offer a Wonder Years package, which covers multiple family photoshoots over the years for parents who want to capture their babies in different stages of their lives.

  • Depending on the package you select, your edited photos will arrive 30-45 business days after selection. Learn more here.

  • After your family photoshoot or newborn photo shoot, you will receive your photos in a virtual folder via Zenfolio. We also offer bespoke folio boxes and prints for select packages to preserve your memories in print form. 

  • We go for a warm, artistic, and rich editing style, with colours that pop and light that gives your family photoshoot a whimsical, dreamy effect.

  • Our team of photographers at Mommy Shots by Amrita have hands-on training and years of experience handling newborns for newborn photo shoots. We ensure strict cleanliness standards as well as proper baby soothing, wrapping, and photographing methods so that the entire family photoshoot goes by without a glitch.

  • Just show up for your maternity photoshoot or family photoshoot. Wear an outfit you’re comfortable and confident in, and our team will take care of the rest!
