Framing stories with happy beginnings
We love babies.
And we love photography :)
Most people think that it takes a million snapshots in your photo album to tell your childโs story. But at Mommy Shots, we know that itโs about capturing the right frame at the right time. At Mommy Shots, we storyboard and conceptualise each shot to tell a story, one that is personal and special.
With diverse options for your photo-shoot, we offer you the choice to let (y)our creativity run wild or keep it natural and capture your baby in the moment, whether outdoors or at home. Either way, Mommy Shots brings the family portrait to life, and gives you a one-in-a-million memory to hold on to.

Scars are Beautiful
The โScars are beautifulโ campaign is an initiative directed towards raising awareness about congenital heart surgery in children in association with the NGO โMending tiny heartsโ which is run by a group of surgeons, cardiologists, and healthcare professionals who are trying to bridge the gap that exists in the field of cardiac healthcare in India.
Congenital heart disease has an incidence of 1 in every 100 children born. They can range from a simple hole in the heart to complex connection issues. Most of the conditions require open heart surgery and when treated appropriately at the right time, have excellent outcomes, such that these children have a better quality of life.
The presence of a scar on the chest, because of heart surgery conveys that the child has gone through complex heart surgery and has been a fighter โ โA Heart warriorโ essentially.
This photo campaign is to promote awareness about child heart surgery and to showcase the scar as a sign of victory over heart disease, for this, we highlighted these scars with golden foil taking inspiration from โKintsugiโ the Japanese art which treats breakage and repair as a part of the history of an object rather than something to disguise.
We believe that this campaign will help more people understand about heart surgery in children, and for those worried about treating their child, it gives a sense of hope seeing these happy children showcasing their scar and therefore believe that โScars are beautifulโ.
